Experiments (2nd part): Leading lines

by Jan 10, 2018Photos and its stories2 comments

As a second part of putting in practice other ways to get into street photography, I focused on leading lines by excluding people completely from the pictures. This experiment – or exercice – should help me to make leading lines a part of my future composition considerations for people-centered pictures. Both pictures I share this week were taken just around me. Identifying leading lines to make them part of my photography of people is still a complex task, but I am sure that regular hunts for simple pictures with leading lines will help me in that endeavor.

  1. These are great. I’m getting dizzy just looking at the stairs.

  2. Thank you! Yes, I am quite happy about the stairs picture as you get an impression of the effects of leading lines when looking at it.
