First things first: as this is my first post in the year 2018, please let me wish you a very happy new year!

In the aim to try out other techniques and subjects, which broadly fall within the category of street photography (part of my new year’s resolutions), I focused a bit more on objects during one of my outings. The attempt to take pictures of objects requires a whole different approach and different look when outside. While I am very much struggling with this exercice, there is exactly one picture I would like to share this week. There is probably nothing really special about the picture of an empty coffee cup lying on the ground, but when I walked through the a woods, this relict proving our negligent behavior was worth a shot. There is no real message in this post, but if it makes you think about our relationship with the environment as it made me think, it is already a good thing.
