Where’s Wally?

November 21, 2018

This week, I am sharing another photo related to my newly discovered passion for taking photos of urban architecture. From one of the highways around Toulouse, I saw an interesting building in the south of the city and always wanted to get closer to take a picture – especially in the afternoon where the building is in full sunlight.

Recently, as I was in the area for my work, I grabbed my camera in the morning and took a picture during my (extended) lunch break.

Somehow, the photo reminds me of the “Where’s Wally” books, in which the main character always hides in various contexts and the young readers need to find him. My parents still tell me today, that I was addicted to a very similar book when I was a kid. In that case, it was not Wally, but a yellow duck that I had to find on each page. Also, some friends of my parents remember the book when they were in the car with us and were sitting next to me: during the drive they had to go through the book multiple times… Recently, my mother repaired the book (some pages were loose due to extensive usage when I was a kid) and now I am reading the book with my daughter.

The big question though: Where’s Wally in the picture below?
